Through our Mentorship Programme – Generation Next, we provide students with hands-on experience in real healthcare IT environments – helping them build the confidence, skills, and insight to step into meaningful careers.
One such success story is Adil Ahmed, who has just graduated with a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Manchester. During his time at university, Adil took part in the max20 Mentorship Programme, completing a fully funded placement within the IT delivery department of a well-known NHS teaching hospital.
The experience gave Adil valuable exposure to the scale and complexity of NHS digital projects – and allowed him to contribute directly to improving systems and processes that affect patient care.

Now, having completed his degree, Adil has joined max20 as part of our growing team, working on a number of high-profile digital projects for the NHS across the UK. His journey – from student placement to graduate consultant – is a testament to what the Mentorship Programme is all about.
