max20 this week announced its support for the ninth edition of the Unsung Hero Awards. The official launch event, which took place at Liverpool Women’s Hospital on Tuesday October 31st, adopted a Pink Halloween theme as it handed out homemade creepy cup cakes and chocolate biscuit bones to staff and volunteers, courtesy of star baker Sophie.
The event marked the opening of the Nominations for NHS Unsung Heroes, a national show of support for the thousands of non-medical, non-clinical staff and volunteers across the NHS. The categories cover everything from Ancillary to Digital and more. The shortlist of Unsung Heroes will be announced in early 2024, in the run-up to the gala event at Manchester’s amazing Hilton Hotel on March 15th.
