Transforming Benefits Realisation – a Framework for Enabling Success
Tuesday, 25th February 2025 – Hexagon Room – The Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays.
A FREE Benefits Realisation workshop was held on Tuesday, 25 February 2025 at The Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays, in the Hexagon Room.
The session brought together senior NHS professionals to meet the team behind a proven Benefits Realisation Framework methodology and to spend the day with peers in a relaxed and informative environment. Due to the nature of the content, the workshop was specifically aimed at senior leaders including CDIOs, CIOs, CNIOs, CCIOs and Directors of Finance.
Following the workshop, attendees were offered the opportunity to explore on-site follow-up workshops, designed to deliver direct benefits to their teams and organisations.
Benefits realisation is an integral part of delivering the NHS’s value-based strategy across the United Kingdom – maximising outcomes that matter to people while ensuring resources are used as effectively as possible.
A successful benefits realisation approach requires a clear framework and must be culturally embedded across all parts of a health system. Benefits (or disbenefits) arise as a direct result of change, and a structured framework helps all involved clearly understand both the intended and actual cause and effect.
When applied effectively, benefits realisation motivates individuals to make innovative changes, large and small, that demonstrably add value for patients, populations, the workforce and organisations.
